A great warm September afternoon for a game that winds up the niagara escarpment. I have had some disasters on this Beddoe course in the past which poses some interesting challenges. Some tight areas, creeks and hills make this a good challenge. Rick the security guy and I teed off at 4:12 for a fun time into the warm sun next to the slipstream of highway 403....I shot a remarkable 88 and Rick a 92.
We had many opportunities on some of the shorter par 5's to grab pars and birdies, only to bugger up with lousy putting, however in saying that the greens were tricky and hard to read
I was very pleased with my result but realized I could have done so much better had I not been such a wimp with the flat stick...I was within 4' on many par putts and could not deliver the goods. Rick a normally very good putter had his problems as well. He was off his game and I think he did very well with a 92 not ever playing the Beddoe. Rick mentioned we did reasonably well because we both managed to get out of any trouble pretty consistently. We finished the 18th in a veil of semi darkness. My driver issues sorted out around the 16th ...long and straight, which gives me hope and inspiration for my next game...

Dan,like I mentioned before its always a pleasure teeing it up with you.You are right that I definetly did not have my 'A' game going on the Beddoe, aside from that it was a great day.You had a very good game & its starting to look like if you get your flat stick going your gonna be tough to beat.I'm hopping we could get out at least one more time & you better bring your "A" game....
